CU Crusaders CC

In addition to CUCC, Cambridge University students may be selected to play for the Crusaders Cricket Club. The Crusaders also have a long history, in fact dating back to before the CUCC was formed. In recent years, the Crusaders have become recognised as the reserve team with many Crusaders called up to play for CUCC. Those Crusaders who play in the annual University Match against the Oxford University Authentics are awarded the much sought after Crusaders' Colours.

Nowadays, the clubs are very much the same entity with the Crusaders effectively forming a Second XI.
